Note: Each granule of has been crushed into dust, re-pelletized, enhanced with added Fulvic acid and coated with Nature’s NOG liquid. Contact with water will dissolve the coating and make the hormonal package instantly available to the plants. Microbial activity will slowly release the beneficial chemistry in the humate over a 4-month period.
Maintenance Applications
Use a “broadcast” spreader to apply Nature’s NOG Granular three times a year. Application timing is naturally dependent on your climate. In the spring, wait until your grass is in a “growth” mode. In the summer, plan to treat before the onset of the most extreme stress conditions. If your lawn is “warm-weather” grass, the fall application should precede the onset of dormancy by 2-3 weeks. If your lawn is “cold-weather” grass, then mid-October is an excellent time.
Each treatment should be 6-lb/1000 sq .ft. The lawn should be watered after the application to rinse the granules onto the soil and to dissolve the NOG coating from the humate particles.
Nature’s NOG liquid can also be used to maintain a strong, healthy lawn. Spray at 2-oz/1000 sq .ft. on the same schedule of spring, summer and fall.

SOD: Nature’s NOG Granular should be used on the prepared soil, before the sod is laid. The soil is normally prepared by tilling, shaping and smoothing. This application should insure a healthy lawn by inducing fast root growth and soil penetration. Call this “tag-down” insurance.
The rate is 20-lb/1000 sq. ft. To prevent chemically burning the roots, do not mix any type of fertilizer with this under-sod method of using Nature’s NOG Granular.
Spray Nature’s NOG liquid at 2-oz/1000 sq .ft. about 14-days after planting.
Suggestion: Buy a new garden sprayer dedicated to the application of Nature’s NOG. This precaution is to prevent using NOG in a sprayer that was previously used with weed-killer. Adjust the tip to a fine-mist and plan to use 1-1.5 gallons of water per 1000 sq. ft.
SEED: When the ground preparation is completed, both products can be used to benefit germination and fast establishment.
Nature’s NOG should be sprayed onto the seed to completely wet the hull. Allow the 2-oz/gal solution to dry on the seed before final raking and rolling.
